Curiosities revealed

First off, I take back all those uncharitable thoughts about people who don’t update their blogs regularly. It’s not that I can’t think of something to say – my friends will tell you I’m never at a loss for words – I guess it just hasn’t become habit yet. I’m not even going to promise to change that, although I will work on it.

Okay, on to matters at hand. Linda over at Studio L3 is hosting a challenge based on Tim Holtz’s book A Compendium of Curiosities. Each week she is randomly selecting a technique from Tim’s book; to kick off the challenge this week’s technique is water stamping. An easy enough method, I found it requires practice to achieve the desired result. Here is my first attempt, colours used are Chipped Sapphire, Broken China, Peeled Paint and Bundled Sage. Sentiment is stamped in Midnight Blue StazOn. This as yet unfinished page in my inspiration journal shall await further direction from my Muse.

I do encourage you to head on over to Linda’s blog and check out the fabulous submissions – or better yet, if you have Tim’s book why not join in yourself?
