Camped Out

I’ve been recently reliving the summers of my youth, by attending camp. In the same way that my pre-teen self was immersed in a childhood pastime at a western riding camp, this summer I have indulged a current passion by attending Camp Scrap, an online ‘class’ taught by May Flaum over at Big Picture Scrapbooking.

I’m having every bit as good a time as if I’d packed my suitcase and were calling a cabin – or teepee – home for these few weeks. Instead of a hand-tooled leather pouch to show for my efforts, I’ve added a number of layouts to my albums. This one is my favourite.

Just like when I was a kid, as camp draws to a close I’m sad at the thought of leaving – and already looking forward to coming back next year. To May, BPS and my fellow campers – thanks for a really fun time!
